Stanislas de Bazelaire joins ALPHA Ratings Advisory as Partner

We are delighted to announce that Stanislas de Bazelaire has joined ALPHA Ratings Advisory Ltd as a Partner. Stan will lead our Financial Institutions Group ratings advisory, bringing deep sector expertise and an unmatched analytical perspective to our clients.

Stan joins us with over a decade of experience across the capital markets, rating agencies and strategic advisory. He was most recently a Vice-President in Global Debt Advisory at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking in London, where he acted as a trusted adviser to European banks and NBFIs on capital structure, financial strategy and rating advisory.

His track record includes over five years as a primary analyst at S&P Global Ratings in Paris and, earlier, as an analyst at Fitch Ratings in London. This direct insider knowledge, spanning major institutions, gives Stan a unique and rigorous perspective on navigating the opaque nuances of agency methodologies. His expertise is also highly relevant for non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), neobanks and stablecoin issuers, where proactive management of credit ratings can unlock significant funding flexibility.

Crucially, Stan combines this analytical depth with quantitative strength, holding Master’s degrees from ESCP Business School and ENSAE Paris, alongside further data science specialisation from The Johns Hopkins University.
